November 2016

November is here and it is still warm yay!! This fall has been so warm and wonderful! I wish every Fall was like this! I got our fall decorations and we love starting our Thankful tree! I love spending time thinking of all we have and are blessed with. So even though we should be thankful everyday for all we have year around it is nice to spend more time for one month of the year to really focus on it!

For young womens the girls had to make a pie for an activity. Since I was working all day Grammy came out and made pies with them.
Kenlie made a chocolate chip pie and it was so yummy.
Kylie made my favorite brow paper bag apple pie!!
We had a fun night eating way too much pie! The girls didn't win but, I thought they should have theirs were the best in my opinion!!
We got home and the boys were watching the final Chicago Cubs game and we couldn't wait to join them. Todd had his lucky two liter haha!!

Let's go cubs!

YAY they took the World Series!! I had one very very happy husband and the kids were a close second!! I stole these pictures from Kylie's snap chat.

It was a good night~
That Friday we headed up to Midway to spend the night in a house so we could go get tree permits! The kids were so excited to get in the hot tub and play all the games. They had a blast with their cousins and us adults played games and talked! Kylie was at her friends Birthday party so she came up later that night with Jesse. We missed her being there and were happy when she made it up safe.

Ice cream anyone???

Todd was a little tired and fell sound asleep pretty much right when we got there! There were so many box elder bugs all over the house that the rest of us had a hard time wanting to sleep haha!! It was really so gross!
After a super short night of sleep some of us got up bright and early at five and went and froze in the long line to get a tree permit!! Why do we do this again?? Oh yeah because we are crazy!!
We got them yay! We were a little worried this year because we were so far back in the line but we made it!
Back home for a homemade breakfast of cinnamon french toast, eggs and bacon!

Then off to the mountains for tree cutting!! The weather was incredible and there was not any snow at all. I don't think we have ever had a year with no snow and such great weather it was awesome!!  We all had our kids too so it was great the weather was good!

Birds nest~
We found our tree super fast this year. In fact we all found our trees so fast it was awesome!! Yay for no snow and easy tree finding! We got to ride around and play a lot which the kids loved!

Got it!

Then Jordan and Kenlie broke the law and cut down their own little tree. They found it and didn't know that they couldn't cut it whooops!! I see Jordan coming out of the woods with a tree and about died!

These two were crazy drivers!

throwing rocks and shooting guns yep, they were happy!
The tree is loaded on hours earlier then all the other years haha!
Fun group, we loved having so many people there this year!

I think they were all tired!

I finally got our family pictures back a two months later haha! Oh well, it was worth the wait. I think they turned out great!  I sure love this crazy wild family of ours!

One of my favorites~

Love these sweet girls!

LOVE this one~
Love these wild crazy boys~

Love this guy right here~

Braylon 6

Dyson 8

Jordan 9
McKenlie 12

Kylie 15

Best friends most the time~
The kids wanted to do the dab!
A little marble wars!

No Jordan Marbles do not go in your nose!
Dyson and his team are playing great and have stayed undefeated! Dyson loves playing basketball and is getting really good!

Kylie studied and studied and went and passed her driving permit test on the first try YAY!! Way to go cute girl! I am still in shock that we have a kid old enough to drive! When did this happen???
We went to Micheal's craft store and Bray really wanted a little tree for his room. So, he decided to use some of his own money and buy the tree and decorations. He even wanted a little elf for the top of the tree.
So cute Bray!
It was Dad's and donuts and Bray was so excited to have his Dad come spend time with him.

We took Kylie to go see the doctor about her hip after a month of physical therapy. It has been hurting her for two years and has gotten so much worse. SO, we did therapy for awhile and it didn't do anything. They had no idea what was wrong with her and said to go to Primary Children's to have it looked at. They couldn't tell us much and said to go get a MRI done to see what it said! Such a pain and no answers from anyone. So we left and scheduled a MRI.
The kids are loving this warm weather and so am I!! Playing with the bubbles!

Football~

I think Dyson enjoyed his meal haha!!
I think Kylie enjoyed driving with Aunt Caroline!
The boys got to go to another Jazz game with Dad for junior Jazz.

Kylie is so happy that she gets to go to therapy!

I don't get too many pictures of the boys playing ball but, they each have a game one time a week and I love watching them! They have improved so much and both love playing!!

I found these funny old random picture of the kids!! Man they grow up so fast!!

Bray is so cute to watch play ball. He is the cutest little defender and makes me smile the entire time!

He loved his team and having his dad coach him!

Dyson's Hero lunch and he was so glad Dad could come. I brought Inn and Out burgers and after inhaling lunch they went outside to play!

Well Todd was out with Dyson I found this cute kid and ate with him. He was all alone on a table eating which I thought was so sad but, he didn't think anything about it. Plus he grinned so big when he saw me!!

The girls were out with their friends so we headed to eat with the boys. They choose to eat at Ihop which we had never been to. We found out kids eat free which was awesome!

We came back and had a movie night with these cuties!
Saturday McKenlie had a practice competition at her gym and was so excited to go see how she did!
Cute team~
After soccer games and tumbling we headed to the Utes game. Kylie got to come with us and McKenlie was so sweet and babysat the boys while we were gone.

Love her so much!! It was beautiful weather for a Utes game too bad they lost!! We had a great time and the boys were pretty good for McKenlie!

After the game we took Kylie home and headed out with Todd's parents. We still owed them a date night for watching the kids when we went to Puerto Rico forever ago! So we went to a movie and then to dinner. Kylie was suppose to help McKenlie babysit but ended up going to her friends play. So poor Kenlie had been babysitting from 11-9 poor girl. I totally told her I would pay her but, I still felt bad. I was so grateful for her help and really felt awful they were home all day and night alone. As we were coming home McKenlie called and said Dyson had just thrown up!! I was so glad that happened at the end of the night!
Dyson also lost a tooth while we were gone and I never got a picture of it so I tired to sneak a picture while he was sleeping! It didn't work but, he is pretty cute! He said his tummy didn't hurt anymore and went to bed. But, he woke up throwing up in the middle of the night!

McKenlie had to give her first talk in church on Sunday and did a fantastic job I was sooo proud of her she wrote her talk pretty much all alone!
Poor sick kid!!

We were suppose to go to families for dinner but, since Dyson was sick we stayed home and decided to put up the trees! It is before Thanksgiving which I never do but, decided why not have them up and ready to decorate! Since Jordan had cut this tree we decided why not use it and put it in the Living room.
Then it was time for the basement tree which was a pain. I hate putting the trees up it is always way too much work!! This year wasn't as bad as some years but, it still wasn't fun!! Plus the tree was too tall and I had to cut the top off which looked funny!!

Yay it is up~!!!
Bray turned his on too!
Monday night all our friends we to see a movie for family night. Dyson had been pretty sick all day Sunday but, hadn't thrown up since Monday morning so we decided to go to the movie and just made him sit by us encase he was contagious! We saw Trolls and it was pretty cute!
He didn't want a picture haha!

Jordan had his big Fourth grade program and he was so excited! He had been practicing his parts and songs for a long time. I was excited to watch him! He did a great job and sang his heart out!!
Handsome boy!

Jordan said fourth grade has been his favorite grade so far because of all the things he is learning about Utah!
The day before Thanksgiving we headed out to Todd's parents house to make pies and get ready for Thanksgiving. The boys had a blast playing football in the awesome weather.

These two were so cute together.
Grammy got the kids matching aprons and they were so excited.

When they got tired they came in for video games!

Their cute pies are done~
When it was time to leave we went outside to this!! Crazy the weather was beautiful during the day and then this!
We hadn't had dinner yet and so we stopped at Ihop again for dinner/breakfast!

The next morning the boys went to their first ever Turkey bowl with their friends. They were so excited! Todd stayed home from his friends Turkey bowl for the first time ever!! His body was hurting and so he decided to skip!

The rest of us watched the Thanksgiving day parade and got dressed!
Todd said it was so much fun to watch them play!

I was in charge of rolls so I cheated and got Lion House rolls. All I had to do was pull them out of the freezer and let them rise.
I am sooo very grateful for this wonderful family of ours~
I don't however like Todd's beard he has been growing all month for no shave November.
Braylon was not too excited about Thanksgiving dinner haha! I hope he doesn't get too full!
Dyson still wasn't feeling to hot and didn't want to eat either haha!! Dyson got the turkey Bray got the potatoes haha!!

The kids love the slot machine! After dinner we went and saw Moana which is one the new Disney Movie and it was so cute. I didn't get a picture of everyone at the theater but, we all loved it.
We came back for dessert and tried Breaking the wish bone. But,since it wasn't dry yet it was a little hard!

Our Thankful tree was full of all our blessings and we are definitely blessed with so much!
We got home around ten and I headed to Station Park with the girls to do a little Black Friday shopping.

We got a few things and then headed home to bed!
Friday we slept in and then got Thanksgiving taken down and Christmas up!! McKenlie took the bunny for a walk in the stroller haha!
I am not a fan of taking the decorations down and having to put them away and get the next holiday up. But, I love when it is finally up and makes the house feel cute and festive.
We always put the Turkey hats on for Thanksgiving and totally forgot this year do we had to do it the day after.

What a mess!

So much stuff~

I got Thanksgiving down and Christmas sorta up and then we headed out to Todd's parents to see Kelley and her family one more time before they headed back to Arizona. We ate Thanksgiving leftovers and watched Christmas Vacation and laughed our heads off!
Cute group~
Saturday I did the decorations around the house and did a little shopping. Love the feeling of having it all decorated.  I am putting all the pictures on here so I know where to put everything next year so it is easier to decorate haha!

The kids decorated the charlie brown tree.

Looks pretty cute for an accidental cut tree.

The girls wanted their tree up in their room.
After the kids went to bed I got most the lights on the big tree. I ran out of lights though and had to stop dang it!
Todd wanted laser lights this year and got those all set up.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas~

Sunday we headed to my parents for dinner and then we decided to give the girls part of their Christmas gift early. I was soo excited about this and had bought this gift clear back in April. It was so hard to keep the secret but, so worth the surprise when we told them. They get to go to Carrie Underwood with me. They had been begging to go to her concert for years and now finally their dream is coming true.  Getting ready to open their surprise.

Haha blurry but, her face was the best.

We can't wait yay!
Time for crud~

Goodnight girls!
Best friends!
I borrowed lights from my parents and Sunday night finished the lights on the tree. I also put on a few of the decorations but, left the snowflakes for the kids to do later. It looked so beautiful in the mountains but, once we had to cut it down and everything was on it I thought it was ugly. Oh well, its a tree which is all that matters!
Time for our much awaited concert yay!! It was on a Monday night which was hard because of the girls lesson's and school but, oh well. So excited for a night out with my girls. It snowed that day so the roads were really bad and I hate driving in the snow. So, I asked Jessi if we could get a ride with her. Tons of our friends were going so it was a girls night out!
We went to Zupas for dinner first yum.

The best group of people right here!!
The girls got a Carrie Underwood shirt~

Cutest sister~

O.K. can we just talk about how amazing she was!!!! Like incredible, me and the girls danced and sang to every song. It was the best night ever with my cutest girls~

Best night ever!!!!! Best Concert we love CARRIE!!
More basketball!

I took the kids out of school to go to the Festival of Trees. It is one of my favorite things and we had a crazy week and could only go if we went during the day. I don't think they minded missing school haha!
The good thing about going during the day is there are no crowds. We walked right onto the bubble machine! The kids love this one but, Kylie decided not to do it for this first time this year. I guess she is growing up!!

Dyson and Bray talked to an Elf!

We love the ginger bread house especially when it is a UTES stadium!

There were some cute signs this year! I loved these three quotes!

Getting our scones~

Todd finally got rid of his beard but, had fun doing it! What a creeper!!

Freaky!!

I got some presents wrapped to open on December first yay!!
I also got our Service pillow ready for December first! I love doing a service everyday to remember the true meaning of Christmas. This year the church did a Light the World count down and so we joined in with everyone to light the world as much as we could.

The kids had fun playing in the snow!

The bunny wasn't too sure about the snow haha!

Jordan made it as one of the top spellers in his class and made it to the big school spelling bee. He got out in the first round darn it but, we were super proud of him!
Some of my Favorite Christmas pictures from the past years with Santa!!

This is for sure one of my very favorites haha!!
